Health update Saturday 15th February 2020

This page mainly presents snapshots of the skin condition of my lower calves and ankles, as explained below.

These photos were taken by my live-in carer so that she could show them to the district nurse during visits without removing the dressings on my ankles solely in order for the nurse be able to see the skin condition during their visit, which could not be at the same time as the daily treatments of my legs which had to happen in the wet room during an hour-long visit by an additional agency carer could assist with the process of moving me to the wet room in a wheelchair using the hoist.

The swollen state of my calves, ankles and feet meant that district nurses visited twice a week in early February 2020. They brought dressing materials which my live-in carer used to treat the skin condition, which gradually improved. She took photos to simplify showing the district nurses how my calves were looking on their visits, because my legs were covered by bandages except when they were being dressed every few days. Below are some photos of each calf/ankle on various days.
